40 HOURS OF ADORATION
St. Edward in Chillicothe is celebrating the feast of Corpus Christi with 40 hours of Eucharistic Adoration starting June 3 and ending June 6. The schedule for 40 hours is;
8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 3,
8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 4,
8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Saturday, June 5 and
7:00 am to 11:30 am on Sunday, June 6.
Each evening will end with a talk beginning at 7:00pm followed by Evening prayer and Benediction at 7:45pm. The talk at 7:00pm on Thursday, June 3rd will be given by Monsignor Don Fitzpatrick, senior priest of the diocese. The talk at 7:00pm on Friday June 4th will be given by Fr. William Miller IC, Pastor of St. Patrick’s and Corpus Christi in Galesburg. The talk at 7:00pm on Saturday, June 5th will be given by Fr. Bruce King IC, Pastor of St. Matthews in Farmington .
These reflections will be interesting and beneficial to your spiritual health and provide a

Biography;
Monsignor Don Fitzpatrick is a senior priest of
the diocese with 47 years of serving at various parishes in the diocese. His
last post was as Pastor at St. Anthony in Atkinson along with being
Administrator for Sheffield and Wyanet. He is currently in residence at St.
Augustine Manor in Peoria.
Fr. William Miller IC is a member of the Institute
of Charity, also known as the Rosminians and is the Rector of the Rosminian
house in Peoria and it’s Provencial Superior. He is currently pastor for Corpus
Christi and St. Patrick’s in Galesburg along with Sacred Heart in Abingdon.
Fr. Bruce King IC is another member of the Institute of Charity and will celebrate his 25th year in the priesthood this year. Currently he is pastor at St. Matthew in Farmington, chaplain for Knox College and the Illinois River Correctional Center.
